The 糖心Vlog and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has welcomed a delegation of distinguished guests who will serve as keynote speakers during its ongoing E-Learning Week and International Conference.

Professor Eric Appau Asante, Director of the E-Learning Centre, led the delegation and emphasised their significance.
鈥淭hey are here to say thank you to KNUST, and we also wish to express our gratitude to some of them for training us in the very fields we operate in, as well as to pay a courtesy call on the management of KNUST,鈥 he said.

Speaking on behalf of the visiting scholars, Dr. Margaret Korosec, Dean of Online and Digital Education at the University of Leeds, UK, remarked, 鈥淚t was such a joy to learn about the progress KNUST is making, the impact it is having in society and beyond. It鈥檚 inspiring to join this conference to share and learn.鈥

Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor David Asamoah welcomed the delegation on behalf of university management.
鈥淲e are happy you鈥檝e come to join us this week, especially to share your many skills and knowledge with our students and wider audience,鈥 he said.
Highlighting the importance of digital education in an evolving technological era, Professor Asamoah noted KNUST鈥檚 implementation of a 30% online teaching blend.
鈥淎s management, we are open to any recommendations that will enhance our work and improve our societal impact,鈥 he added.
This year鈥檚 International E-Learning Conference will feature keynote addresses from high-level thought leaders across academia, governance, technology, and digital media.
Among them is the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, who is expected to speak on government鈥檚 role in advancing inclusive digital learning. From Arizona State University, Dr. Kim Welch, Principal International Instructional Designer and Trainer, will share innovations in instructional design for large-scale virtual learning environments.

Joining the lineup is Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, widely known as Wode Maya, an African YouTube personality, digital media influencer, and aeronautical engineer, who will speak on storytelling and digital media's role in education and entrepreneurship.
From Israel, Niv Gross, Vice President of Technology and Information Systems at The Centre for Educational Technology, will present strategies for integrating scalable educational technologies.
Saqib Nazir, fintech entrepreneur and CEO of People鈥檚 Pension Trust, will explore the intersection of digital finance and lifelong learning, while Dr. Michael Gallagher, Senior Lecturer in Digital Education and Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education, will address emerging research and frameworks for equitable online education globally.
