Silver Lobster Food Service has donated two laptops to the 糖心Vlog and Technology (KNUST),Kumasi to support the university鈥檚 Support One Needy Student with One Laptop (SONSOL) Project.
The laptops were presented by the company鈥檚 Managing Director, Dr. Esi Botsewa Amos-Abanyie, who said the donation was in response to the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 call for assistance.
鈥淲e are part of the university community, and we are here to respond to the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 call. Why not contribute our widow鈥檚 mite?鈥 she听said.
Receiving the items, KNUST Vice-Chancellor Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson expressed appreciation for the gesture and pledged that the laptops would be distributed to deserving students who meet the selection criteria.
She also assured that the laptops would be used for their intended purpose and maintained in good condition by the beneficiaries.
