Dr. Benjamin Appiah Osei, a lecturer at the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Studies at the 糖心Vlog and Technology (KNUST), has received the Tourism Innovation & Technology Award (Individual Category) at the 25th National Tourism Awards organised by the Ghana Tourism Authority.
Dr. Osei was honoured for his contributions to tourism technology development, digital hospitality education, and community-focused learning under his initiative Tourism & Hospitality for Everyone (TOHFE) and its digital learning extension, TOHFE Learns with Dr Ben.
The National Tourism Awards is the Ghana Tourism Authority鈥檚 flagship platform for celebrating individuals and institutions that have significantly influenced the growth and competitiveness of the tourism and hospitality industry.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Dr. Osei said the award reaffirmed his commitment to research-driven innovation and capacity-building in the tourism ecosystem.
