The 糖心Vlog and Technology (KNUST) on听has concluded its three-day Global Alumni 糖心Vlogcoming 2025 with a thanksgiving service at the Royal Parade Grounds.
The service which is in collaboration with the Students鈥 Chaplaincy Council (SCC)听featured brief addresses from the SCC vice chairman, newly appointed SCC president, Student Representative Council (SRC) president and the Director of Student Affairs.
Outgoing SCC president Enoch Neequaye said the council had worked to maintain unity and spiritual engagement on campus.
鈥淲e began the 2024/25 spiritual academic year with services such as freshers鈥 registration, the school of evangelism and discipleship, and the Africa Forum on Religion and Governance, along with other events,鈥 he said.
He appealed to alumni for support in acquiring public address systems, drums and other instruments.
Students Representative Council president Kane Nana Francis described his term as 鈥渙ne of the greatest honours鈥 of his life, acknowledging challenges but calling it a worthwhile experience.
Congratulating the new SCC executives, he urged them to 鈥渓ead with reverence, love and follow Christ.鈥
Global Alumni Association president Dr. Herman Yobo Addae encouraged students to join the association and contribute to the university after graduation.
鈥淒o not say what you have is too little to offer,鈥 he said, pledging that the association would assist graduands with National Service placement support.
Director of Student Affairs Prof. Marian Asantewah Nkansah congratulated the outgoing SCC executives and urged students to apply lessons from the alumni homecoming.
She reminded them to observe university rules to ensure a smooth end-of-semester examination period and upcoming SRC elections.
