A first-year Civil Engineering student at 糖心Vlog and Technology鈥檚 (KNUST) Obuasi campus has received a new laptop from the AndyAmuna Foundation to support his studies.
Fuseini Boaz Yirimea was presented with the device at the Coordinating Dean鈥檚 Office听in a ceremony attended by campus leadership and senior administrative staff.
The AndyAmuna Foundation was set up by the Amuna family in memory of Andy Amuna, a former KNUST valedictorian from the College of Engineering who died while in active service.
鈥淚鈥檓 happy and grateful to the Amuna family, the AndyAmuna Foundation, and the campus leadership. I will make good use of the laptop,鈥 Fuseini said.
Raised by his mother, a widow, Fuseini aspires to become a structural engineer. The Coordinating Dean, Prof. Lawrence Darkwah, said the donation underscored the importance of supporting young talent and praised the foundation for investing in students鈥 futures.
The foundation said the gesture was part of its mission to honour Andy Amuna鈥檚 legacy by helping determined students overcome barriers to their education.
